(3,000T/Y-15,000T/Y) Composite Fiber (ES composite Fiber, Sea-island Composite Fiber) Production Line

Composite fibers (bi-component fibers) refer to fibers in which two or more immiscible polymers coexist in the cross-section. They can be generally classified into sheath-core type, side-by-side type, segmented pie type, islands-in-the-sea type, trilobal type, and blended type.

The composite staple fiber production equipment uses two different types of polymer chips as raw materials. It adopts high-pressure melt spinning technology combined with a frequency-controlled spinning and drawing tandem system to produce composite staple fibers. The production capacity of a single line ranges from 10 tons/day to 50 tons/day.

When designing the bi-component fiber equipment, our engineers fully take into account the differences between various polymers in terms of viscosity, melting point, and rheological properties. Based on this, we design an optimized spinning system to ensure that the twin polymer melt flows delivered by the screw extruders to each spinning position in the spinneret block are uniform, equal in quantity, and consistent in flow rate.
